Our Core Services

Software Development

We develop our Neos code base using SAFe Agile with 2-week sprints and standard ceremonies (planning, grooming, standups, demos, retrospectives). We require code reviews, including security scans, before merging code to identify issues early in the development cycle. Our quality strategy includes unit testing, performance testing, API testing, and UI testing to produce high-quality software (evidenced by a .008 change failure rate). Our code is deployed to production as part of a mature CI/CD pipeline with Azure Pipelines. On average, we deploy more than once per week to production. We maintain an open- source software (OSS) inventory, with security scanning executed at each check-in to identify security vulnerabilities in OSS packages.



Project Management

Our project managers manage our implementation efforts in accordance with the cost, schedule and technical requirements. We follow industry best practices for change management to ensure transparency and client communications while maintaining adherence to project timelines and scope.

Systems and Implementation Engineering

We configure and deploy enterprise systems using the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP) methodology. We distinguish and execute both Configuration Management and Change Management standards. Our goal is always Production Readiness and Information Assurance. We conduct dry runs and production readiness reviews to validate system stability before deployment. We believe our solution stability is closely tied to integration and interface management. Key components of our Production Assessment Test (PAT) methodology include proactive monitoring, alerting, and production support mechanisms to maintain operational continuity while streamlining enterprise resource planning (ERP) processes by integrating workflows and optimizing resource utilization. Advanced business intelligence and data analytics tools are key to enabling data-driven decision-making and actionable insights and outcomes.

Data Conversion and Custom Scripting

We plan and execute secure, accurate data migration strategies tailored with detailed data mapping and custom conversion scripts to ensure compatibility with new systems. We implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to transfer data from legacy systems to modern platforms while facilitating secure migration of documents and metadata, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

DevSecOps

Security

We are currently audited and attested to SOC 2, Type 2 compliance. We are under contract with our 3PAO for our FedRAMP High Readiness. We apply quarterly application penetration testing and deploy full encryption in transit (FIPS and TLS 1.2 and above) and at rest (full volume encryption via managed service), protecting all application data during communication and when persisted in the databases. Our development, implementation and operational resources are certified by Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS). Our 3rd party redacted audit reports are available to our customers as an inheritance to their audit and compliance process.



Cloud Operations

Our government cloud operations are designed and deployed using the Well Architected Cloud Framework, including high availability and multi-region configurations. We implement automated scaling solutions to optimize performance during peak usage hours while executing policy-based monitoring, alerting, and production support to ensure operational stability.



Training

We offer on-site, virtual, and on-demand Neos training opportunities to accommodate diverse user needs and locations. This includes administrative and functional training, custom training curricula to address specific workflows and varying levels of expertise, and organizational requirements covering new systems' operational and technical aspects. Users can also access interactive e-learning modules and certification programs for scalable and accessible knowledge sharing. We maintain a comprehensive knowledge base where users can find detailed instructions on using every element of Neos.

We offer the Essential SAFe Class, covering all aspects of SAFe in two sessions. It includes all core modules in addition to an online self-paced course designed as "Refresher Training for SAFe" with nine separate lessons. Custom classes are available upon request.
